Telefunken image from the detector to the integrated circuit

Complexity was in the early years of broadcasting the "FIND" the transmitter to detector needle. The tube receiver simplified operation and improved reception performance. Since the mid-50s, the transistor increasingly began to displace the tube, and today replaced the integrated circuit entire component groups.

Not even matchstick size the transistors.
