The author gives us not only an insight into the historical development of the bathroom, but reflects also the Customs and traditions around the bad in the course of the centuries. The extravagant life in the ancient Luxusbädern has as well a place such as the sumptuous spas in Carlsbad, Brighton or Biarritz in this cultural history with their festivals and their illustrious guests, who often came from the circles of the European nobility... Prignitz paints a picture of this important cultural area occupied by numerous contemporary quotations and gives an overview from prehistory to the present in a unique way. The rich photographic material I rest, to illustrate this development.

The book is in good condition. The edge is not annoyingly Dim after due to the paper.
