The facsimile edition: The Mercator atlases have been always used books to receive so many editions that despite the very few copies remain. Especially rare are the earliest editions, complete and consistently well-preserved atlases are hard to find. Coloured cards were finally back in the 16th and 17 Century only in expensive luxuries available. Relatively rare and precious, are well-preserved specimens. And even here there are important differences in quality: Rough deck paint brush land that obscure much of the fine structure are, in addition to the highest taste watercolor atlases, which were ordered by vornehmbaren citizens, wealthy merchants and aristocrats with excellent artists in order.

The European countries are represented by the respective general maps, Switzerland and Austria, with all the regional maps. Facsimile is fully part of Germania, which includes countries such as Poland and Hungary are included. .... All cards are exactly reproduced in the formats of the original, the colors of the old coloring were left completely unchanged. so that any "retouching" disturb the original impression.
