Born in 1939 in Ernstroda / Thüringen

1953-1956 apprenticeship as a decorative painter

1957 Moves to Berlin

1958-1961 Visiting the People's High School (painting and drawing), lecturer: Charlotte Schirrmacher

1961-1964 studies at the technical school for teaching and figures (Department of Painting) Lecturer: Bruno Bernitz

1965-1983 work in a painting group led by Arnold Pemmann

since 1971 head of the group painting and drawing

Since 1975 lecturer at the adult education center

Since 1980, participation in painting courses under the direction of Günter Neubauer, Prof. Peter Schnürpel and Lothar Gemmel
