Large Great Dane bronze animal figure - nice fine shape - 1880s

  • Solid bronze casting - not hollow casting
  • Manufactured around 1870 - 1880 / 1870s - 1880s
  • Great Dane - Great Dane with link collar
  • A very fine naturalistic shape using the lost wax casting process
  • An expressive depiction of a Great Dane
  • With a very beautiful golden-reddish-brown patina
  • Soles ground flat for good stability
  • Without base or plinth
  • Dimensions approx. 28 cm long, 16.5 cm high and 9 cm deep
  • Weight approx.

 

In very good condition, no breaks or dents, a very nice patina, please note the pictures.
