1930s bed warmer made of marble in black

 

Antique heat stone. Marble / serpentine. The predecessor of the hot-water bottle.

 

Details:

  • Product: bed warmer/ heat stone / bed rock
  • Material: Marble / serpentine - handle in metal
  • Dimensions: length approx. 24 cm, width 18 cm, height approx. 4,5 cm
  • Weight: approx. 2800 grams
  • Period: 30s

The heat-stone was laid in or on the stove. After some time, he had saved enough heat and was placed in the bed, to preheat this.

Marble stone, ancient thermal stone in black from the 1930s.

The stone is the age appropriately in good condition, various slight traces of usage, and a Hair line crack (not broken, stone conditionally), please note the photos!
